The film, directed by Abhishek Kudwa, stars Alia Bhatt as Maya Nagpal, a journalist and Rhea Chakraborty as Usha Gangadhara and Piyanka Tripathi returns as Anuradha. Ranveer Singh appears as Tarkishore, another man whose fate was already decided but now that his son Ashutosh became a star, there is no option out. He gets dragged into the gangster’s trap but manages to get out again when Rhea comes to meet him for the final time. In addition, the actress plays two roles, Rashmi, wife to Ashutosh, and Ananya Panday as Chaitanya, wife to Jayant.
Aishwarya Rai makes her acting debut with this film as a lawyer who tries to help people by using her experience as a judge. Satya Dev Kumar portrays Vikram Doraisamy in this film. The plot is made for a court hearing. But the story itself takes over because Nithya’s transformation continues as she keeps making important decisions in her own life, trying to save the world as best she can, and save herself from both Raghav and Ashutosh. It’s good fun because every single moment you know that if you’ve spent 10 years in jail, I could have done that.
She is the only person who knows the truth but it’s not easy to see she could be a different person once she looks at the outside. All that is possible with the right understanding of what Nithya Sharma means to others and how the dark secrets of her past will hurt her.
It begins with an odd situation with Raghav and Ashutosh finding themselves having to run for their lives in India because of a gun battle between them. While it doesn’t make sense that Raghav wants his wife back, Rhea knows it would be better if she’s somewhere safe. So with all precautions taken and a hitman named Asha (Kamal Haasan), they flee to Dubai where Raghav got shot. There, he’s in touch with his lawyer Ashok (Samuthirakani)
The plan is to create an alibi for a flight to Pakistan to retrieve Rhea and Ashutosh. With help and assistance from Bharti Gulati, Ashok goes abroad looking for them but is arrested by Pakistani police. Then comes Nithya and Usha, and her journey as a recovering alcoholic who meets Ashutosh and Raghav for the first time, and who learns more about Ashutosh’s connection to Gajrauli Samji.
When she runs into him for the second time, he tells her that she has no idea that she could ever do anything for him. It turns out that it’s true. By the end of the film, you’ll get so glad you saw Raghav die so quickly, so easily.
